The Best Mistake Lyrics

I have heard men say
It may be wise to walk away
And turn around, then try to face
What may turn out to be your best mistake

Why would you stare blindly
With your hands up over your face
It's a game that may turn out to be your best mistake
You know you would see so much clearer
If you pulled your hands down from over your face
It's a game, and you will never be the same again

By the by we two must burn
The fire consumes the light
We both must die
We both must die
I too must die

You're cold, you don't know why
When there's so much warmth around you, you try
And you fail
And you will never be the same again

You know you would see so much clearer
If you pulled your hands down from over your face
It's a game, and you will never be the same again

By the by we two must burn
The fire consumes the light
We both must die
We both must die
You too must die
